Square
In 2018, a friend of mine was managing the Customer Success department at Square in San Francisco. She asked me if I would be interested in designing a laptop sticker for her team. I love graphic design so this project was right up my alley and something I was super excited to tackle. And, lucky for me the customer success team had some very specific parameters in mind to help guide my creativity.
Sticker constraints
80's Nostalgia
Being a team comprised of Millenials they wanted a throwback to the 80's
Square
They wanted the design to visually relate back to square in some way
cartoons
This group was a big fan of cartoons and wanted that look and feel
As a Millenial myself I was incredibly stoked when I heard these design parameters. I immediately jumped into all the 80's trivia research and geeked out on the nostalgia of my childhood. There were so many fun directions I could go in and it almost became an overwhelming task of narrowing down my choices to one image. Soon inspiration struck and I jumped into my digital design software. This is what I created...
Transform your business
What I came up with was a Square device transformer! Straight from the popular 80's cartoon, this robot warrior is here to help the Customer Service team turn around people's days and transform their businesses. Built from the equipment this team's clients work with daily, his armor is comprised of the different card swiping devices that Square provides.
Body plates
Shin Guards
Foot Protection
This laptop sticker project was an absolute blast to work on. Is your team in need of a corporate sticker design? Please reach out, I would love to work with you!
